What could I possibly be up to now, you ask? Oh…You didn’t ask? Would it be ok if I told you, seeing as how it’s my blog and all? Well, lemme try anyway…ehem: “Ahora estoy viviendo en Peru, puta.” (http://translate.google.com/#es/en/).
I enjoyed my time in South Korea so much that I didn’t want it to stop. I wasn’t about to get off of this bumpy expat ride, so I decided to have another self-indulgent adventure. I would throw myself into the deep end yet again. This time, it was in the freezing waters off the coast of Peru, near a small city called Trujillo.
Now that I had one year experience as a “teacher” in Asia, this, along with my tangential comedic background and improv training, was enough to trick an elite, private international school into thinking I was qualified to teach drama to apathetic, rich teenagers.
I got most of my laughter out in time to accept their offer before I boarded my America-bound German cargo ship in Busan, South Korea.
